Photo Capture

The high-resolution camera uses the same software controls as the standard color camera.

Focusing the Camera

Enter Capture Photo mode and place the sample on the glass pane. Zoom in on the live camera view to inspect the area you want to photograph.

Loosen the locking screw on the focus ring, then turn the ring until the selected area appears sharp. Retighten the screw and check that the image remains in focus.

To adjust the aperture, loosen the locking screw on the aperture ring, rotate the ring to the desired setting, and retighten the screw.

ℹ️ Note: Check the focus again after changing lenses or moving the sample closer to or farther from the camera.

Taking a Photo

With the sample in focus, continue with the Camera Snapshot procedure to adjust lighting, white balance, and capture settings.
